Chris Tulp is the CEO/Co-Founder at Premier Roofing and works out of the Support Center office. Together, with Ben McFerron, he founded Premier in 2005. He loves being in the roofing business because it’s an industry where you can actually see your accomplishments at the end of the day. If you roof a house- your roof may be on that house for 50 years- and it’s something you can drive-by, point out to your kids and say “see that- my roof keeps that family dry too!”
Selling roofing is easy as soon as you understand one basic concept: People don’t buy new roofs- they buy “peace of mind.” They want to know that if their roof leaks, there’s going to be someone on the other end of that phone that will help out. We don’t just push shingles- we aim for trust and long-term relationships.
Before founding Premier Chris was a roofing salesperson. Before roofing he was an English teacher in Rio de Janeiro. Before that he was an apprentice carpenter and a student at Colorado College. He studied Politics and Spanish in college- which, as he puts it, “means I can effectively disagree with everyone in multiple languages."
Outside of Premier his primary focus is on his wife and children – and when time permits Chris likes to travel, surf, snowboard, ski, snowmobile, bike, run, swim, hunt, and camp as much as possible.
